Bloxroute Labs has recently announced a partnership with a Chinese mining firm named Rawpool Group and video development Yeecall, to test out their first version of its Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN).
A representative at Bloxroute has asserted that they’ll be able to improve the efficiency of the distributed ledger by spreading blocks in a neutral manner. The introduction of their solutions allows nodes to maintain consensus while being neutral while taking into account thousands of transactions performed during each mining session.
The three companies plan to begin testing out their solutions sometime during February 2019. In March, a second global testing phase will begin, with even more users participating. According to the press release by Bloxroute, it’s interface will work with the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks.
Once they’ve completed the launch for the first version, BDN will become a fully functioning network containing 15 nodes located in five continents. The developers do plan to continue working on scaling and increasing the number of nodes from its current 30 to 50 by the third quarter of 2019.
Bloxroute has suggested that during March, the testing will attract a large number of mining pools as the company considers its product to be one of the best solutions for solving the issues of scalability at its root. The whitepaper explains that BDN will provide users with the capability to distribute blocks and accept transactions much quicker than possible known on other counterparts.
