Bitfinex and Ethfinex announced today that customers of Bitfinex and Ethfinex will be able to trade all six major stablecoins on both exchanges.
Bitfinex were the first to introduce alternative stablecoins onto their platform, including Dai (an Ethereum collateralised stablecoin), and now proudly introduce the following established stablecoins: USDC, True USD, Paxos, and Gemini USD.
In total, Bitfinex and Ethfinex now support six stablecoins on their respective exchanges: USDC, True USD, Paxos, Gemini USD, USDT, and Dai.
Bitfinex has been very active with the crypto community. Recently they released a bunch of open-source development libraries on the Bitfinex Github.
This clearly shows that stablecoins will play an important role in the cryptocurrency’s growth. A little while back, Coinbase listed their first stablecoin on their exchange and now we’re seeing more and more exchanges starting to list it as well. In addition to that a while back we reported that EU is allowing some of their workers to get paid in stablecoins.
